Bangladesh and Social Media 2018

Its better late than never, is a phrase I’ve been told pretty frequently recently. I have not wrote a blog almost close to two years. Partly its because I did not think to write down my thoughts or views regarding certain topics. I am a very vocal person when it comes to talking about Bangladesh and its development. Having visited the country almost year for the past 5 years has allowed me to appreciate the little things in Bangladesh. I have observed a lot of changes occurring in Bangladesh and I am all for it. There are a couple of topics I would like to discuss in the coming months. Hopefully, I can get a discussion started on these topics to learn new perspectives.

The first topic I will like to discuss is Social Media, which includes the influence and presence of YouTube, Instagram and Facebook in Bangladesh.

Questions I have are:

Is Social Media doing more damage or good to society?

Are influential Social Media personalities utilizing their fame for good causes?

What does government think of Social Media’s influence in Bangladesh?

Is Cyber Crime a prevailing issue in Bangladesh?

Does Bangladesh need to have more private Public Relations, Press Agents personnel to advise to celebrities?

Does Bangladesh need more lawyers focused on assisting celebrities?

Why is social media privacy a prevailing issue in Bangladesh?

How can we educate people to be more socially conscious on social media?

These are some questions I have in mind so far!
